My current sketchbook. For my last biggish traditional quilt, I have decided to use the ruler set I got a few years ago but never really used plus a few I have picked up recently. This necessitates some intensive practice before commiting to the actual quilt. Fortunately I quite a few cheap fat quarters to do that! #practicemakesperfect #fatquarters #freemotionwithrulers #rulerworkquilting #westerleerulers

Time to stop fusing and start the quilting. Think I will be adding some beads and embroidery 🪡 as well at some point. Like a painting 🖌️, I have to put it away for a day or so before I move onto the next part. Thought I would post this up as it's England's patron saint's day, St George and the dragon. I even included some cricket players😊 I completed this in 2008 which was about a year into my journey of looking into fiber art and bead embroidery.
