I am giving my quilt a break today. I got so frustrated with it yesterday 😕 I wrote blog post instead: https://jacquiboyd-alden.com/blog/ My image today come from pre-foundation work, about 46 yr ago! In the next 2 years I will need to decide what to do with all my art work that has accumulated over those years. Apart from a few pieces that have been gifted, I have most of my work. That is a lot of junk! From next month I am going to start downsizing our processions. My obsession is art work and books. DH collects books. It's going to be hard a hard process. My kids will be grateful,(I hope).

I am tearing my hair out with frustration at the moment. My Linus Quilt isn't going well. Lot of issues, all of my own creating 😢 Plus, I and my DH have been battling a stomach bug for the last week. I have accepted the quilt is not great (reluctantly) but lessons have been learnt.#selfportrait #frustration #drawing #tearingmyhairout

Backing fabric finally assembled! 😅 Sandwich done. Used #505spray instead of pins but I will probably pop in a few before I saw quilting tomorrow. Not sure this will be done in time! However I am keeping the quilting simple this time as it's busy enough already. #wip #quiltpiecing #quiltblocks #quilting #quiltsandwich

New fashion accessory 😂🤣 saves them from going all over the floor which is already cover in thread drops. Quilt top is complete, now to sandwich and quilt before Thursday night. Think it will be a simple design with a walking foot. #wonderclips #quiltersofinstagram #quilting #wip Had a short break in the afternoon to watch the Eurovision song contest. Brilliant as normal and the scoring was a nail biter. The UK came 2nd! Of course, Ukraine won 😃 #eurovision2022

It's taken a lot of hours but these blocks are now ready to be joined together to make the quilt top. Then I have to make the decision about the backing and the weekend will be spent quilting it all together! #batiks #quiltblocks #linusproject #charityquilt #justinthenickoftime
